Luxor hosts the 3 Cushion Billiards World Cup 2014

Today, The President of the International Billiards Association, Head of the African Association and the governor of Luxor were attending the opening of the finals of the 3 Cushion Billiards World Cup Championship 2014.

The championship is being held in Luxor for the first time from 23rd till 29^th March.

130 players from 20 countries are participating and competing for the cup.

Abydos temple to be open at night, Osirion underground water problem to finish

Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim during his visit to Dendera temple yesterday said that the temple will be fully equipped to be open for visitors at night and extend opening times and the visitor’s centre to be finished soon.

There is also a project to lower the underground water at the Osirion to open it for public.

The Egyptian Museum restore its Nile side again

The burnt National Democratic Party building next to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir will be demolished and the land will be back as a part of the museum.

The was the decision taken by the Egyptian Prime Minister after the cabionet meeting earlier today.

There were different plans as to what to do with the building including an international hotel but now it will be back to the Museum as it was once before.
