President Mubarak will be in Italy Thursday to inaugurate the renovated the Egyptian academy in Rome. Renovations began in July 2008 with a cost of 8 million Euros. More about the history of the arts academy will be published on Luxor Times blog later today.... Stay Tuned.

Great blog but I am shocked that you have failed to report on the Inaguration of the first International School in Luxor - ever. This is something that is of interest to people living real lives in Luxor, both expats and Egyptians.
Luxor Times was there at the inaguration of the German International School and the full report covering it, plus first day for the students at school, will be published in the coming issue which will be out shortly.
