The new date for the official opening of “Most” of the Sphinx Avenue

On his visit to Luxor, the Minister of State for Antiquities Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim announced that a new date for opening the Sphinx Avenue for the public is set to mid March but it will be partly opened. As Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim explained that there is a section of the avenue will be open after the restoration and the chosen date fit in with the Berlin International tourism Market in which Egypt will be the official partner country in 2012 according to the agreement that was officially signed on July 1^st 2010.
