While you debate that these stories only include four personal accounts, this would suffice journalism policy. Then you say, “…editors didn’t even try to get to the source or the responsible official to check the information…” however, you failed to cite any source yourself. Therefore, how can you say this is untrue?

Furthermore, Bikya Masr did cite one official at the Ministry of Tourism, Amr Abdelmaged, said: “All we’re doing is enforcing the rules of law that most tourists in other countries abide by so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to the foreigners who are not getting extensions.”

To begin to pass along news, make sure that the Luxor Times Magazine also includes its own sources or makes sure that readers know this is an op-ed piece.LeAnnehttp://simplyleanne.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5723387460095670707.post-39250357826128185862011-07-16T22:02:57.358+02:002011-07-16T22:02:57.358+02:00thanks for that Mena.......as the daily news egypt...thanks for that Mena.......as the daily news egypt (13th July) quoted their source as the dept of immigration....and stated that
"the immigration department has rejected all recent requests to renew tourist visas" is there any chance you can ask them to correct this.....in print......many thanksjohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03003732419453654878noreply@blogger.com
